Women In Distress of Broward County, Inc. hosts several signature events throughout the year in order to raise funds for the agency, increase community awareness and support the families that we serve. Each event is planned and executed to further our mission to continue to provide victims of domestic violence with safe shelter, crisis intervention and resources, and to educate the community.

                      A fun community tradition that unites community leaders,
                      families, students, professional groups, companies and
                      many more for a 5K walk and run to take a step to
                      end domestic violence.




 

      May 9, 2012 at the Signature Grand
      Each year at this event we honor those who have made a
      significant contribution to improve the lives of victims of
      domestic violence.





      February 29, 2012 at the Signature Grand
      This is a free breakfast with a goal of raising $30,000 for
      the programs and services provided by Women In Distress
      to our community.





               January 8, 2012 at the Isle Casino Pompano Park
               An event that brings together poker players to win a chance at
               fourteen great prizes, including a seat at the World Series of Poker™
               in Las Vegas, NV!




      Fall 2012 at Lips in Wilton Manors
      Enjoy dinner and the most fabulous drag show in town!
