Director of Finance
This position is responsible for oversight of day-to-day financial operations as well as long-range financial planning.

Hours:  Full time exempt position.  Generally Monday- Friday 9-5, with flexibility to meet job requirements.

Position requires:
• Master’s degree supplemented by progressively responsible experience in financial mgt.
• Supervisory experience
• Clear background check
• Valid Florida driver’s license and safe driving record

Salary Range: $52,000 - $84,000

Brief job description:

• Oversees finance department and supervises dept. staff.
• Responsible for all fiscal facets & accounting transactions to include:  accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger.
• Directs and manages the organization’s budget process.
• Directs and manages the overall organization’s budget process and prepares timely and accurate budgets for contracts and grants.
• Prepares financial reports, statements and financial projections.
• Manages cash flow,  reconciliation of bank statements.
• Manages and prepares contract fiscal information required in grant and contract proposals and reports. Supervises billings & manage and execute contract billing requirements.
• Oversees the allocation of grants funding.
• Coordinates all aspects of annual audit
• Formulates financial policies, procedure and guidelines.
• Reviews process for efficiencies and integrating best practices.

Skills required:

Knowledge and understanding of generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP & FASB) as related to non-profits
Familiar with Fund Accounting software, preferably MIP Fund Accounting
Extensive knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Products with Advanced EXCEL       



Thrift Store Manager

This position is responsible for the overall operation of the thrift store, including, but not limited to staffing, sales, merchandise receipt and pricing, overall appearance and marketing and promotions.

Hours:  Full time exempt position.  Flexible to meet job needs.  Able to work between the hours of 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday through Sunday as determined.

Education & Experience: 
A. College degree in Business or relevant discipline or  minimum 3 years of retail sales & management, including supervising employees.
B. Valid Florida driver’s license.  Safe driving record. Proof of automobile liability insurance

Salary Range: $35,000 - $42,000

Brief Job description:
• Meet sales goals.  Coordinate store promotions & events to drive sales.
• Ensure high standards for customer, donor, participant and volunteer relations.
• Train & supervise staff and volunteers and help to create a positive, cooperative and rewarding working environment.
• Responsible for accounting controls to include sales, register operations, deposits, daily sales reports.
• Develop a marketing and advertising strategy for the store.
Physical Requirements: 
• Standing and/or walking for most of the day.
• Frequent reaching, bending and stretching.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
Skills required: 
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good conflict resolution & management skills
• Self-motivated/good organizational skills
• Ability to train & develop team members, solve problems with good judgment, delegate responsibilities & make decisions independently.
